Web Application Developer
Web application development to help grow our construction project and payment management platform. Custom website design and application development for clients in the financial sector, residential and commercial construction. Work independently in a start-up environment. Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that streamline project workflows and enhance payment processing systems. Collaborate with senior developers and project managers to implement innovative solutions, ensuring our platforms are user-friendly, secure, and efficient. Perform all duties with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Design: Design overall architecture of the web application, including user interfaces, and translating wireframes into visual elements
• Build: Build reusable code and libraries, and implementing services and APIs to power the application
• Optimize: Optimize the application for speed and scalability, and implementing security and data protection
• Integrate: Integrate the front-end and back-end aspects of the application
• Test: Create and test apps for the website, and quality-testing and troubleshooting in various browsers
• Maintain: Perform routine site audits and ongoing maintenance, and provide continued support for web properties
• Communicate: Communicate with colleagues, managers, stakeholders, and customers, and maintain communication with team members about the direction of the website
Entry requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, web development or closely related IT field. Knowledge through education or prior experience in the following areas: JavaScript,
SQL, CSS, Linux, HTML, Object Oriented (OO) design principals, general knowledge of computer networking, and general understanding of development lifecycle (SDLC).
Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
